Join Active Pathways as a Registered Manager We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead South Grove House, a newly opened, eight-bed specialist residential service in Fulwood, Lancashire. Opened in November 2024, this purpose-built service supports men aged 18 with autism, who may also have co-existing substance misuse and mental health needs. The service is designed for individuals stepping down from inpatient settings or transitioning from other residential care environments. What You Will Do Lead the day-to-day management of South Grove House, ensuring a high standard of care and support. Work closely with the Assistant Director - Business Development and Regional Manager to develop and establish the service. Promote independence and choice, ensuring residents achieve meaningful, fulfilling lives. Maintain full CQC compliance, overseeing audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes. Lead on KPI management, reporting, and governance structures. Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring to your team, ensuring a positive working culture. Ensure that all clinical and therapeutic interventions are person-centred and aligned with our service model. Manage referrals effectively, ensuring proactive engagement with local Commissioners and externals to maximise occupancy, minimise vacant bed days, and maintain service flow through high-quality assessment and reporting. On-call will operate on a roster with other managers and includes handling managerial escalations and oversight via phone. If you are required to return to the site in an emergency, you will be paid for your time on-site at your standard rate. What We Are Looking For Experience managing an adult social care service, ideally supporting people with autism and complex needs. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the ability to maintain compliance. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this).
