This fast growth media client is seeking a dynamic Finance Director. The Role They are looking to appoint a Finance Director to help develop and oversee financial operations and structures, and integrate all new acquisitions into the financial systems and operations. In addition to this, the candidate will be required to oversee and support the finance teams in each of the operating companies and provide support to the Board as the company continues to grow. The role will involve both a strategic, as well as hands on, approach and requires an ability to develop processes, reports, and controls. You will need to ensure the finance team is supported as well as being resourced and organised appropriately and is respected in the organisation as a key part of driving business performance Key responsibilities; Member of the Board and involved in the implementation of the Group strategy Monitor financial processes, performance and controls of the group. Responsible for the accurate forecasts and budgets for the Group including short term and long-term forecasts, working alongside the CEO and COO who is responsible for the delivery of the forecasts Responsible for the accurate and timely management reporting to improve both profitability and cashflow Responsible for strong cost control, including supplier negotiations Ensure all tax matters across the group are planned and managed appropriately. Challenge the Management team on the profitability of each show and help in reviewing costs against forecast income to drive profitability Establish and maintain processes and communications with advisers / providers. Take ownership of integration for finance matters for future acquisitions Responsible for the management of the Finance Team, including development, motivation and direction. The Candidate Fully qualified accountant. Demonstrable experience as a Finance Director or Senior Finance Controller working at a senior level in a multi-office and multinational environment. Experience leading and managing finance teams across multiple business units. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritise. Good understanding of IT including financial systems and operations best practices. Understanding of budgets and cost control. Strong experience of managing and controlling cash flows. Strong experience of building models and analysis for banks / investors. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills. Also ideally: Experience of (or a passion for) a health / well-being related sector. Experience with Xero. Experience of working in a PE backed business. The Terms Full-time (40 hours per week, this includes paid lunch hours) flexible working pattern available. The company operates in a number of countries and working hours may need to be flexible to adapt to different time zones. Minimum 3 days per week to be worked in the office (Guilford). Salary - £80-90k depending on experience plus performance related bonus. Holiday allowance 20 days plus Bank Holidays (pro-rated down for part-time hours). Time off in lieu offered when working on events. Auto-enrolment pension. Located close to Guildford train station, and some parking available at the office (offered on a rotational basis).
