A vacancy has arisen for a Secretary within the Corporate Department.
This is an ideal role for an experienced Secretary who is able to work with minimal supervision and provide an efficient, first-class service within tight timescales. Supporting a busy team of fee earners, duties will include:
1. Document preparation
2. Copy/audio typing
3. Diary management
4. Various administrative duties
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, confident, flexible in their approach, and possess excellent organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as is the ability to deal competently with clients and internal stakeholders of all levels across the firm. The successful candidate will ideally have previous Corporate / Banking experience.
The successful applicant will be fully conversant with Microsoft packages and proficient in document preparation, using tools such as house style, stripping out and reformatting documents, tables of contents, formulas, track changes, and document comparison packages.
Whilst this role is based in Leeds, the postholder will work closely with our Newcastle Secretarial team. The role is suitable for hybrid working, but it is expected that the postholder will be flexible to come into the office when needed.
