Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Location: Travel between Hockley and Brentwood
Remuneration: Up to£26, per year
Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
1. Assist in preparing accurate purchase orders (prices, quantities, delivery dates).
2. Monitor and track purchase orders for timely deliveries.
3. Maintain purchase order records and update systems.
Vendor Communication:
4. Follow up with vendors and suppliers on quotes, orders, and delivery schedules.
5. Resolve any discrepancies such as pricing errors or late deliveries.
6. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Inventory Management:
7. Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
8. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure stock matches orders.
Data Entry & Reporting:
9. Accurately input purchasing data into procurement systems.
10. Identify cost-saving opportunities in the procurement process.
Administrative Support:
11. Assist the Purchasing Manager in day-to-day tasks.
12. Maintain well-organised files and documentation.
