We are looking for an experienced and passionate Finance professional to step into the Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) role for our exciting new planning, budgeting, and forecasting project on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The implementation of the new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software will play a key role in enhancing our financial planning and analysis, ultimately helping us deliver a customer-first housing experience for a better future. You will be the driving force behind project activities on the EPM project, taking direction from the EPM Business Lead and managing a Project Officer, ensuring project activities are completed to a high standard to project timelines. You will be an advocate for the project and Finance Business Partnering, inspiring colleagues to embrace change. About you: Your enthusiasm for financial planning will be evident in all activities and your knowledge and expertise will provide invaluable insight and support to the development of new processes for the benefit of colleagues and the Group. Some of the things we are looking for: Proven experience in financial planning and accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a team leader role or equivalent. Experience of developing and delivering an excellent customer driven service to differing audiences and stakeholders Experience of developing finance reporting systems which support the business Good knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards and of Finance Business Partnering best practice Please note: While the role is advertised as a Finance Business Partner to reflect its level, the formal job title for this position is EPM Lead SME. Although this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to our Group offices or other locations as needed for client or team meetings.
