Kalman & Company is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to work on a hybrid schedule in Stafford, VA. This position offers comprehensive benefit offerings including (but not limited to) 401K match, health and dental, life insurance and PTO.
* Hybrid work scheduled, with only 1-2 days at the Government site per week.
* Flexible work schedule to allow for appointments and personal events.
* Opportunities for travel, but no more than 25%
Responsibilities:
* Perform research and maintenance analysis, develop and deliver project integrated schedules, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), info briefs, and meeting minutes for PM MHTV.
* Assist development and documentation of records that assist MHTV PdM and DPM.
* Provide direct support in researching, drafting, and coordinating various plans and objectives.
* Provide Operational Resource Analysis (ORA) for the program offices.
* Provide technical direction to monitor work performance of Government Support Organizations, Prime Contractors, and Subcontractors.
* Ensure completeness of project contract deliverables.
* Solve or recommend solutions to problems or risks regarding program phases.
* Conduct business case analyses of engineering changes
Required Education/Qualifications:
* An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in appropriate business or technical discipline is required.
* Excellent and proven ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with customer/sponsor stakeholders and senior/executive leadership in government and industry.
* Outstanding organizational skills, Team-oriented mindset and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, diverse, and virtual team environment.
* 3+ years Acquisition experience in ACAT I and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
* Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in transitioning a Major Defense Acquisition Program through life cycle phases
Experience with DoD/IT related programs.
* Knowledge of policies, procedures, and activities involved in working a program office during the execution and management of a Major Defense Acquisition Program.
* Experience working with Federal Agencies and the Federal Regulations (FAR)
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
* Ability to present both written and oral information to non-technical top managers and other specialists clearly and concisely.

Strongly Desired:
* Desire candidates with military experience, preferably USMC/SYSCOM
* Experience at ACAT I level
* Experience at all acquisition milestones
