Forfar Support Worker

£23,150.16 per year pro rata - 25/26 Pay Award Pending
Support workers are at the heart of the service Ark provides, supporting people to engage with the lively community of Forfar, making the most of activities from sports and art to music and dancing. Our two services in Forfar support a wide age range from early twenties to late seventies. Most residents live in sheltered accommodation with their own flats, communal gardens, and lounges, preferring to live independently. We also offer outreach services for individuals with various health conditions and learning disabilities. Our supported people enjoy participating in group activities, learning, and are involved in speak out and voices groups. They also love planning events and raising money for charities, often involving staff and participating in staff recruitment processes. We have dedicated staff teams providing caring, person-centered support. Our supported people value staff who are reliable, caring, and committed to helping them live as independently and happily as possible.
There are excellent opportunities to develop your skills in care due to the diverse support needs within the service.
