Business Development Executive (B2B)

Our professional team of HR and Health and Safety Consultants provide support to hundreds of SMEs each year. We have more than 30 years proven experience of providing HR and Health and Safety advice for employers, including employment law advice.
We’re looking to recruit an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team in our Hillington office.
About The Role
The Role:
Reporting to the Regional Director, the Business Development Executive’s primary focus will be to generate new business sales across the Central Belt of Scotland. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with the promotion of additional services to existing clients.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Essential Criteria:
* At least 2 years B2B sales experience including cold calling prospects, developing relationships and self-generating new business opportunities.
* Good negotiation skills, ensuring negotiations contribute to partnerships and ongoing business growth.
* Good computer literacy as you will be using a variety of MS packages and a CRM system on a daily basis.
* Good communication skills, written and verbal, and confident in dealing with a variety of decision-makers (for example, Directors, CEOs, and business owners).
* Ability to work independently as well as working alongside the HR Consultancy team and attending external events.
* Amenable to travel if required.
* Clean valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for business purposes.
Desirable Criteria:
* Business development experience within a professional services business.
