Job Purpose Responsible for day-to-day accounting duties within the corporate area of the UK Group, including management of the purchase ledgers, as well as provision of general accounting and administrative support as required. Job Description Responsibility for all aspects of the purchase ledger function within the Finance team. Preparation of supplier payment runs, making the payments to the supplier and allocation of payments to accounts. General accounting including maintenance of prepayments and accruals. Administration and processing of employee expense claim forms and timesheets. Allocate bank entries to general ledger codes. Preparation of bank reconciliations for each bank account. Develop KPI reporting to ensure suppliers are paid on time. Develop a good working relationship with third party suppliers, bank administrators, auditors and internal stakeholders. Maintain and develop a Cash Flow Forecasting process. Suggest ways to strengthen internal controls around accounts payable processing. Liaise with budget holders to ensure all goods receipting is up to date.
