Location: Northampton or Liverpool Olleco site with regular travel (including Europe), and 1 day home working if desired

About the Role:
As a Learning & Development Business Partner, you will work closely with the Group Learning and Development Manager to consult, design, deliver, and review blended learning interventions that meet our business needs. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing operational performance and results at individual, team, and organisational levels, aligning key L&D activities with our strategic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Health & Safety: Ensure all training activities are conducted safely and content encompasses a safety mind-set.
2. Training Creation & Delivery: Through acquired operational knowledge, develop and deliver high-quality system training to the business for new colleagues, ensuring that colleagues are upskilled and developed to utilise business operating systems.
3. Project Support: Support and deliver project activity, either leading or supporting colleagues to support the overall business performance and goals. Making best use of operational knowledge to carry out gap analysis to inform training approaches and advise other departments on requirements.
4. Learning Paths: Oversee the development and review of learning paths to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
5. Learning Management System: Manage and update training records within the LMS.
6. Quality: Keep policies and procedures documented and blended into all learning requirements as well as supporting the business in gaining training completion issued by LMS.
7. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve training programs and materials.
8. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest L&D practices and trends.
9. Return on Investment: Measure the impact and ROI of learning interventions.
What We're Looking For:
1. Strong safety mindset

3. Creative problem-solving abilities
4. Proven previous experience in operations, whereby these expertise can be utilised to identify base learning needs, areas for continuous improvement and/or gap analysis
5. Ability to motivate and coach others
6. Experience in training needs analysis and ROI measurement
7. Experience in designing, developing and delivering training material, developing a training strategy with an understanding of different training methods and channels
8. Proven experience in learning and development, preferably in the UK waste, logistics, and/or engineering industry
9. Proficiency in MS Office applications
Qualifications:
1. Educated to A level
2. Certificate in Training Practice or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it)
3. Experience with LMS or content authoring tools (SuccessFactors and/or Articulate is a plus)
