With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we’re now looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Panel Wirer to join us at our Nuneaton-based facility.
Junior Panel Wirer – The Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and equipment under supervision.
2. Performing tasks such as crimping cables, soldering, fitting components, and using battery-powered hand tools (e.g., drills, jigsaws).
3. Preparing and installing electrical components, including switches, relays, and terminals.
4. Following technical instructions and diagrams to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
5. Supporting the team to meet project deadlines and maintain high levels of workmanship.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. A basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring (training will be provided for beginners).
2. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (advantageous but not essential – full training offered).
3. A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.
4. A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
5. Any previous experience in electrical work or an electrical qualification is beneficial but not required.
6. Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
