An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to lead our used car operations at our Greenhous Telford site.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Motivating and coaching a team of Sales Executives, driving them to exceed company targets.
2. Ensuring your team follow a sales process, helping and supporting the team to enhance conversion rates.
3. Focusing strongly on the dealership's F&I performance, ensuring all customers are treated fairly and all products are presented professionally 100% of the time.
4. Focusing on customer satisfaction levels and continuously striving to deliver world-class customer service.
5. Controlling used vehicle stocking levels within stocking parameters, ensuring all stock is advertised quickly and correctly, and managing used vehicle stock through preparation, driving workshop colleagues to an agreed SLA to help stock turn.
6. Managing trade stock sales through Dealer Auction.
7. Engaging actively with the Autotrader platform and managing leads in the system.
8. Completing full deal packs, checking for compliance and recording profitability.
9. Influencing the dealership's marketing plan, creating content, and generating ideas to increase showroom footfall, taking initiative and encouraging team involvement.
10. Adhering to FCA and data protection obligations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to maximize database quality.
11. Representing the company at off-site events.
Ideally, We Are Looking For
1. Previous experience in automotive sales, ideally in a management role.
2. A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Confidence and organization.
5. Motivated self-starter.
