Our excellent client is looking for an Administration Assistant to join their friendly and down to earth team in Quedgeley on a part- time basis. This will be a temporary to permanent vacancy, therefore the successful individual will ideally be immediately available to start.
This is a small, close knit team, with a low turnover of staff and a real team player ethos, so a willingness to get stuck in is key. There are x4 events annually, plus a monthly meeting which fall outside your usual work hours that you be expected to attend:
- Every Month: 1x evening meeting on the 1st Wednesday of every month - 7pm – 9pm
- April: 1x Easter Monday shift - 8.30am - 1pm
- June: 1x Sunday shift – Morning
- November: 1x Saturday shift - 4.45pm - 8pm
- December: 1x Sunday shift – Morning
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle general enquiries via phone and email.
- Support organisation meetings, taking notes and distributing meeting agendas and relevant paperwork.
- Type up meeting minutes.
- Arrange book ins and visits for other sites.
- Project admin and support.
- General cash handling, invoicing, banking and money reconciliation.
- Help organise, and attend company events as listed above (x4 annual events plus a monthly evening meeting).
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required to support the team and organisation.
Key Attributes
- Reliable, team player.
- Administration experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate to include Microsoft Office programs.
- Flexible to support events and meetings.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 2.00pm or 9.30am – 2.30pm (up to you) plus x4 annual events and a monthly evening meeting as listed above.
Salary: £12.21 starting salary, rising to £13.50 per hour + benefits including:
