About the Role
As the NRM Excellence Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the NRM culture and capability of our Consumer Goods business across diverse markets in Europe. Your main responsibility will be to drive the NRM culture and capability roadmap for Consumer Goods EMEA, transforming how we identify NRM opportunities, set strategies, execute, and support implementation.
Reporting to the Net Revenue Management Lead for Consumer Goods EMEA, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as the Commercial Excellence Team, Regional Net Revenue Managers, Business Development Managers, external consultants, and Regional Customer Marketing Directors to lead our NRM culture and capability journey.
This role requires NRM expertise, structured change management and organizational skills, and entrepreneurial behaviors.
What You Will Do:
1. Develop and drive the NRM culture & capability roadmap for the business unit in collaboration with key regional stakeholders.
2. Lead BU-wide capability-building projects, such as the NRM Academy, including content development, training delivery, and managing external partnerships.
3. Maintain and update the business unit’s suite of NRM playbooks, ensuring alignment and adoption.
4. Implement ways of working through pilots and regional partnerships, monitor activities across geographies, and optimize processes.
5. Assess NRM maturity across regions, measure progress, and communicate results.
6. Benchmark and stay at the forefront of best practices in NRM, integrating external expertise and making business case approvals for new investments.
7. Create an online hub for NRM resources.
8. Be an influential member of Essity’s NRM community.
9. Define and implement benchmarking methods for NRM maturity versus peers.
Who You Are:
1. Extensive experience in FMCG, in commercial or strategic roles.
2. Proven experience in Revenue Growth Management, Net Revenue Management, Commercial Strategy, or Market Strategy & Planning within FMCG/CPG or consulting.
3. Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
4. Strong collaboration skills, experienced in matrix organizations and international teams.
5. Deep understanding of NRM concepts such as Brand Portfolio Pricing, PPA, Mix Management, Promotion Strategy, and Trade Investment.
6. Innovative mindset eager to pioneer new ways of working and drive organizational change.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence and lead.
8. Supportive, principled, and collaborative problem-solver.
9. Engaging, positive, and motivating team leader.
10. Fluent in English.
11. Willingness to travel 20-30% per month.
