The IPC service is a 7-day service andtherefore employees will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.The IPC team has unique access to the combined expertise of the ID/MicrobiologyConsultant team together with the Modernising Medical Microbiology and Big InfectionDiagnostics | NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre to investigate healthcare associatedinfection and manage outbreaks in collaboration with Oxford University. Activation asairborne HCID regional facility as part of the national HCID network is anticipated in April2025.
