Role Overview
The Key Account Executive (AE) will lead the commercial activities within their geographic area, focusing on securing distribution and pouring agreements, coordinating activation activities, and leading the area team to meet sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate performance across the region, collaborating with sales, quality, and activation teams.
2. Secure agreements with approximately 150 outlets for the full Diageo portfolio.
3. Maximize ROI through contractual agreements, managing spend, and forecasting activities with key customers.
4. Achieve the annual operating plan aligned with sales ambitions.
5. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
6. Manage route-to-market relationships within the city.
7. Supervise in-outlet performance and execution, utilizing CRM systems.
8. Ensure quality standards for Guinness draught with support from the quality team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Experience in sales within retail, FMCG, or similar fast-moving sectors.
2. Ability to build positive customer relationships and manage route-to-market channels.
3. Commercial acumen, experience with P&L management, and numeracy skills.
4. Knowledge of the local area.
5. Target-driven with a desire to excel in a challenging environment.
6. Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
