Recruiting for a Strong Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 student 1-1 with ADHD and showing signs of Challenging Behaviour - Romford Primary School. Ideally somebody Team Teach trained with a firm but fair approach and able to able to set routines and boundaries to support the student with their learning. To start after the Easter break, Monday to Friday ( term time only) Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role: Experience and knowledge working with ADHD, Challenging Behaviour, Social Emotional & Mental Health needs. A drive and energy for working with SEN and developing the skills to facilitate this. Managing the students behaviour and employing de-escalation skills when required. Able to identify & manage triggers and traits. To work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning for the student. Team Teach trained would ideally be essential. L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, Care, SEND or Psychology qualification.
