RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an established engineering company based in Heywood who are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team covering a maternity cover contract. This Senior Accounts Assistant role will be the main point of contact in accounts for the site and report to a Finance Manager in a sister company. Duties include: Sales ledger management Purchase ledger management Month end ledger close Payroll preparation Manage all incoming and outgoing payments Preparing accounts to trial balance Cashbook Bank reconciliations This Senior Accounts Assistant role is ideal for someone who has experience being the main person in accounts and has dealt with payroll previously. Experience with Xero would also be an advantage. The role is to cover a maternity leave and will be for approximately 30-35 hours per week. These can be either four full days or spread across five shorter working days (school hours).
