Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Company

A leading & well-established regional contractor based in Surrey, specialising in delivering high-quality construction projects ranging from £1 million to £8 million. They have a diverse portfolio of projects across the education, public sector, leisure, and commercial sectors.
Role Overview: This business is seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of construction sites.
2. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
3. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
4. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
5. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
6. Help to resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site.
7. Ensure the site is kept clean, tidy, and secure.
Requirements:
8. Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
9. Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
10. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
12. A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
13. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
14. CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work certification (desirable).
