Data is a vital asset to any organisation, and the trust recognises the importance of robust data collection and reporting in meaningful ways, including compiling complex data sets. The trust uses various systems for data collection, which will be reviewed in line with the trust’s vision and strategy to harmonise these systems, ensuring they are user-friendly, fit for purpose, and support standardised reporting.
The role of the Data Compliance Officer is to oversee data systems across the trust, ensuring data compliance within our governance frameworks and supporting users with access and daily usage advice. The primary focus will be on young people data systems and other monitoring and tracking systems. Additionally, the role will support other departments such as human resources, finance, and operations that utilize data systems.
This role guarantees excellent data governance, legal compliance, and leverages data insights to enhance academy performance, supporting positive outcomes for all young people.
The successful candidate will develop in-depth knowledge of data requirements for young people with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring the accurate recording of key information such as health and medical conditions. This will enable staff to support young people effectively and safely.
