SALARY: London Fringe Main Scale M1 – M6 (£33,075 - £45,037 depending on experience)

PURPOSE OF JOB: To take responsibility for a class in order to promote effective teaching and learning for the pupils.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

2. Plan and assess pupils' learning using knowledge of school policies, schemes of work, and National Curriculum requirements for the relevant curriculum areas and demonstrate a good working knowledge of current primary practice.

9. LEADING AND MANAGING PEOPLE: To lead, manage, and work collaboratively with a group of pupils and, when appropriate, other adults and colleagues.
10. Plan to manage pupil behaviour, taking into account the personal, social, and emotional needs of pupils.
11. Work as a member of a team, planning co-operatively, sharing information, ideas, and expertise, and participate in staff meetings, year group meetings, curriculum planning meetings, and any other meetings deemed relevant by the Headteacher.
