We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in Stevenage. You'll be providing vital support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, playing a key role in helping students succeed both academically and socially.

Position: Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Day Rate: £90
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one or group support tailored to the needs of SEN and PMLD pupils.
2. Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and specialists to deliver individualized learning plans.
3. Foster a safe and nurturing environment that supports students' emotional well-being and academic engagement.
4. Assist during lessons, break times, and school activities to ensure inclusivity for all students.
5. Help prepare learning materials and resources to enhance the classroom experience.
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous experience working with SEN and/or PMLD pupils is highly desirable.
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
3. Patience, empathy, and the flexibility to adapt to diverse learning needs.
4. Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are a plus, but not essential.
5. Flexibility to meet the varied learning challenges of our students.
6. Ability to commute reliably to Stevenage.
7. A full driving license is preferred.
