Exciting opportunity for a fun-loving personal assistant. We are seeking a capable
personal assistant for our fantastic 12-year-old son with Autism. Our son is a
whirlwind of energy, bursting with personality, and loves to communicate through
PECS and his unique physical expressions. With his love for animals, park
outings, and a bit of retail therapy, every day is an adventure!
As our son's PA, you'll ensure he experiences the joy of exploring new things
safely. Whether it's playing at home, going on outdoor adventures or shopping
trips, you'll be his support bringing smiles and laughter every step of the way.

Duties include:
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
At least 2 years of experience with Special Need Children
Experienced in managing challenging behaviours as our son can resort to
self-injurious behaviours, harming others and sensory integration
dysfunction.
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working
hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
