What you’ll be doing Preparing HR related documents, included but not limited to flexible working, change in role/salary, parental leave Dealing with Social Security medical certificates and benefit repayments Recording and monitoring sickness and absence, ensuring accurate data entry and assist with monthly sickness reporting Processing all HR related invoices and payment requests Draft standard correspondence Responding to reference requests Overseeing the HR inbox Assisting with HR reporting including headcount and ad hoc reporting requests Answering telephone and responding to email queries Ensuring the HR database is accurate and up to date at all times Coordinate fruit/flowers/anniversary gifts as required Take ownership and responsibility of the onboarding process Liaising with internal teams regarding new joiners Setting up induction timetables Setting up new joiners on internal HR system and all other new joiner administration as per checklist Taking ownership and responsibility of the offboarding process Dealing with employee queries Supporting payroll administration by ensuring all necessary information is provided to the payroll team Assisting with benefit administration, including enrolment, changes and answering employee benefit-related queries Providing ad hoc administrative support to the European HR team as required The ideal background for this role: A Levels or equivalent (BTEC, IB) and GCSE English and Maths at A or B grade University Degree is preferred Prior experience in an HR role, ideally 18 months Office administration experience A detailed working knowledge of Microsoft office Excellent written and verbal English Accuracy with good attention to detail and strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines Appreciation of the need for strict levels of confidentiality A genuine enthusiasm for and interest in the profession of HR Role Location/Hybrid Schedule This role will be based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
