Network IT is currently recruiting for an IT Field Technician, with 2nd line support experience, to join our client on a 6 month initial contract, with the potential to extend to a year.
Our client is a leading MSP, who support a range of customers in the Cumbria area with their IT support issues. This will cover a range of technologies, including Microsoft products, networking and desktop/device support.
As this is a hands-on, customer-facing role, you must be comfortable in providing onsite presence, as well as some remote support where needed.
Please note, you must have a driving license, and access to a vehicle for this role. Our client will also complete an Enhanced DBS check.
Role Details:
1. Role: IT Field Technician
2. Duration: 6 Months
3. Day Rate: Circa £200 per day
4. Status: Inside IR35
5. Location: Various - travel around Cumbria (Up to 5 days per week with occasional remote working)
Key Skills Required:
1. Demonstrable background in IT Support, at a 2nd line level with desktop support experience
2. Comfortable visiting sites and customers, providing onsite support and customer service
3. Microsoft support - Windows, AD, Office 365, Azure AD
4. Basic knowledge of supporting Networks - LAN/WAN/Switches
5. Some VMWare and Hyper-V experience would be nice to have
6. Full driving license, and access to a vehicle
