We are seeking a reliable, motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking member of staff to work in and support our After School Club Monday to Friday during term time. This provision has grown in popularity and we now need extra staff capacity due to pupil numbers.
This role will be working alongside existing staff, providing a relaxed and enjoyable environment and excellent activities for the pupils in after school care.
The role is for 15 hours per week, 3:00pm – 6pm Monday to Friday term time only.
The post would especially suit someone with a qualification and/or experience in childcare/working with children.
We are looking for someone that:
1. Enjoys working with children
2. Can create imaginative and creative indoor and outdoor activities for children of varying ages
3. Can work well in a team to deliver an excellent experience for the children
4. Can communicate effectively with adults and children
5. Will work within set procedures and guidelines for good practice when working within an after-school club.
6. Has knowledge of basic food hygiene – desirable but not essential as training will be provided
7. Has a paediatric first aid qualification – desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
