We are seeking a skilled Principal Engineer with expertise in epitaxial growth, specifically for Indium Phosphide (InP) in photonics applications. This role offers the opportunity to advance epitaxial technologies and contribute to the design and manufacturing of high-performance photonic components for telecommunications, data centers, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead development and optimization of InP epitaxial growth for photonics applications.
* Collaborate on wafer growth techniques for high material quality.
* Work with device design teams to optimize epitaxial layers for performance.
* Oversee quality control protocols and material characterization.
* Mentor junior engineers and manage R&D projects.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies in epitaxial growth.
Required:
* Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 12+ years of experience in epitaxial growth, especially InP.
* Expertise in MOCVD and photonics applications.
* Strong analytical skills, experience with process control and characterization tools.
* Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor fabrication.
