Key Responsibilities Compliance Risk Management: Identify and manage compliance risks, maintaining the Compliance Risk Register with regular updates. Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP): Develop, implement, and report on the CMP, with timely follow-up on actions across business units. Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of three, including two Compliance Monitoring Officers, ensuring high-quality reporting and performance. Governance & Compliance Systems: Oversee data management and reporting within Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) software. Conduct & Consumer Duty Frameworks: Maintain Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty frameworks, ensuring full regulatory compliance. Senior Managers & Certification Regimes: Manage frameworks for the Senior Managers and Certification Regimes, including Conduct Rules, to support key personnel decisions. Compliance Advisory: Provide compliance guidance and advisory support, fostering a proactive compliance culture within the business. Regulatory Projects & Gap Analysis: Lead compliance efforts in regulatory projects, including gap analyses to align with emerging regulatory changes. Cross-Functional Engagement: Participate in cross-functional teams on strategic and project-based initiatives, advising on compliance matters. Deputy Head of Compliance: Serve as deputy to the Head of Compliance in relevant committees and governance forums as needed. Issue and Breach Monitoring: Track, report, and resolve compliance-related issues, breaches, and audit findings. Compliance Culture Promotion: Drive a compliance-focused culture aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards. Other Responsibilities Ethical and Compliance Culture: Support a culture of ethical conduct, transparency, and prudent risk management, promoting diversity and inclusion.
