Chatsworth Forestry Department are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Arborist and Forestry Worker to work alongside the Forestry Team on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire. In this role you will work with the Arboricultural Supervisor and Forestry Manager to assist in delivering multipurpose forestry and arboricultural operations on a modern estate. You will plan jobs, helping to ensure all necessary permissions have been requested and all necessary paperwork complete prior to the start of operations. You will act as a mentor to Arboricultural Apprentices, offering guidance when necessary and aiding in their development whilst at Chatsworth. This is a fixed term role for 3 months, working 40 hours per week, usually from 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, but some flexibility around these hours are expected. Pay rate will be dependant upon experience.
