Please note the salary is pro rata for part-time hours and the shift pattern for this permanent post is 21.5 hours per week over 3 days Monday to Wednesday.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic specialist physiotherapist to join the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team at our hospital and community venues across West Glasgow.
Applications are invited from physiotherapists with specialist exercise assessment and prescription skills and rehabilitation experience in improving clinical outcomes and quality of life in patients with a long-term condition. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based rehabilitation interventions to a wide range of cardiac patients. You will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, treatment, and discharge of patients within the service. You will plan and deliver rehabilitation in accordance with the board-wide service, ensuring timely, safe, and effective person-centred exercise and education programmes. You will be responsible for supervising a healthcare support worker and students on clinical placement. You must have a proven record of excellent clinical, communication, and time management skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. It is essential that you are currently registered with the HCPC.
