Bell Cornwall Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for a Barristers Clerk at a large city Barristers chambers. They are looking for a confident and motivated individual to join their Team.
Barristers Clerk responsibilities:
* Daily diary management alongside the 1st Junior and Senior Clerk
* Liaising with solicitors concerning market rate fees for potential jobs and barristers
* Managing cases based on the availability of counsel and level of urgency
* Maintaining chambers client database and assisting in the upkeep of the group's website
* Managing emails and telephone enquiries, while working as part of the wider staff team, including chamber's clients, Court staff and other Bar Clerks
The ideal candidate will have:
* 1-2 years' experience within a Barrister's Clerk role
* Working knowledge of Meridian Law Connected
* Good interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external clients
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
