As a .NET Developer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our technological capabilities to support the delivery of high-quality services for patients at Northumbria Trust. Working in an Agile development team operating 2 weekly sprints, you will design, develop, test, and maintain innovative software solutions built on the Microsoft .NET framework deploying to Azure.
Responsibilities
* You will understand how to integrate Healthcare systems using industry standards like HL7 and FHIR protocol with integration engines like Mirth.
* You will have experience as a .NET developer and be comfortable analyzing user requirements and business needs individually and then developing technical specifications and the resulting software solution.
* Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. Software Development
* Design, code, and test software applications using the .NET framework, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with other developers and IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of applications and systems.
* Develop Healthcare systems integration using message protocols like HL7 and FHIR.
System Analysis And Design
* Analyze user requirements and business needs to develop technical specifications for software solutions and design solutions accordingly.
* Assist with architecting scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems that align with organizational objectives.
Quality Assurance
* Conduct thorough testing of your work and liaise closely with the QA team to build out test scenarios. Help identify and rectify defects, ensuring high-quality and reliable software prior to passing to the QA team.
Collaboration And Communication
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to understand user needs.
* Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the development lifecycle.
Documentation
* Create and maintain appropriate documentation for developed software, including technical diagrams and system documentation.
