The role
Due to increasing demands and requests, we are investing additional resources into the families and wellbeing customer service team to ensure it is sufficiently resourced to deliver the best possible outcomes for our children and families.
You will be responsible for the management of subject access requests for both Children’s and Adult’s Social Care. You will work alongside colleagues in a small team providing a comprehensive and effective access to records service to past and present service users and their families who request access to personal data.
What's needed?
This is a very busy team, and you must have proven experience of organising work to meet deadlines and the ability to work under pressure.
You must have experience of working within social care and/or a social care setting, managing records to a high standard, and an in-depth knowledge of the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.
Proven experience of excellent oral and communication skills is also an essential criterion. You will have a degree level or equivalent appropriate professional level qualification/relevant demonstrable experience and have a keen willingness to engage in learning and development opportunities.
