Drug and Alcohol Practitioner - VN4604 - Fixed Term Until December 2025
Location: 3 Armley Court, Armley Road LS12 2LB
Waythrough, lead partner at Forward Leeds, is one of England’s most successful home-grown charities. We provide free, confidential support for alcohol, drugs, housing, or mental health in friendly local places across the UK. We are committed to fair chances for all and making sure everyone can access the help and support they need to realise their potential. By joining our teams of passionate individuals, you will be contributing to making this happen. You can really make a difference by believing in our service users and their ability to make positive changes when they don’t always believe in themselves.
Earlier this year the Government released its ten year strategy ‘From Harm to Hope’ with funding available to create “world class” treatment services. Leeds City Council has secured enhanced funding to improve drug and alcohol treatment provision across the city which is being invested in services provided by Forward Leeds.
Forward Leeds is an integrated city-wide service supporting adults and young people who are struggling with alcohol and other drugs through dedicated prevention, early intervention and tailored programmes, supporting people to achieve and sustain recovery.
