The Graphic Communications Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver world class, state of the art solutions for Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and a full range of traditional Offset supplies. In addition, we are the industry leader in Color Standardization and G7 implementation.
This position needs to reside on the West Coast.
Responsible for providing consultative and technical support services for both internal and external customers within an assigned territory. Actively grow Professional Services Group (PSG) sales, install, and train customers on software applications unique to the graphics arts industry. This includes desktop and imposition applications, POD RIP solutions, color management software applications and calibration and associated hardware tools. Provide operator training for digital print. Generate revenue through delivery of products and services. This position will cover the West Coast region with 80% travel.

Responsibilities
1. Support product lines by providing product review and problem resolution
2. Promote and deliver consulting services to customers
3. Provide technical information to customers
4. Produce technical reports
5. Perform field evaluation of new and/or test products
6. Conduct product testing and evaluation at customer site
7. Measure product performance against benchmarks
8. Resolve escalated customer problems
9. Disseminate essential product information to other departments
10. Establish a strong working relationship with local managers to promote Professional Services offerings
11. Coordination of training & delivery of Professional Services with customer and support team
12. Perform on-site installation and configuring of software. This includes desktop and imposition applications, POD RIP solutions, color management software applications and calibration and associated hardware tools.
13. Develop strong proactive working relationships with internal sales representatives and customers
14. Grow PSG revenue with new and existing customers by actively working on new opportunities, proposals and upgrades with both Fujifilm Sales and Service groups.
15. Complete and submit activity information and paperwork timely to the appropriate group/department
16. Attend training classes as needed for product updates and new products
17. Maintain current technical knowledge of product offerings
18. Provide training on essential product information both verbally and written
19. Assist other PSAs and customers via phone to troubleshoot problems
20. Sales assistance in demos and/or customer visits and proposals as required
21. Monitor critical accounts and actively participate in support activities to accomplish quick and effective problem resolution
22. Communicate technical issues to GCD management and technical support group
23. Perform related duties as assigned by manager
Required Skills/Education
24. High School diploma or GED equivalent
25. 5+ years graphic arts industry experience
26. Experience with digital printing, color management, prepress products and software applications
27. Basic understanding of networking.
28. Field experience in software applications specific to the graphic arts industry
29. Experience with specific products utilized in the graphic arts industry in the pre-press environment
30. Knowledge of digital printing processes
31. Outstanding customer service
32. Ability to understand and instruct others in the color management process
33. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
34. Industry knowledge related to graphic arts and workflow applications
35. On-going knowledge in graphic arts software applications and a background and/or aptitude to learn the graphic arts field
36. Ability to accurately evaluate customer’s employees after training and provide feedback to owners
37. Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written),
38. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
39. Learn and become proficient on tools and software solutions to help in the growth of PSG revenue e.g., Salesforce, GQS, Asana and others.
40. Valid Driver’s license
41. Ability to travel ~80%
