We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Compliance Analyst to develop and drive the Experian UK&I data governance and data management agenda.
This role involves working on a programme of work with accountability for defining action plans to improve governance record keeping and operational control across the UK&I business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist advice for projects and business change activities to ensure alignment with Data Standards.
2. Be a key stakeholder in developing UK&I Data Standards, ensuring alignment with global and regional policies, and adapting to changes in the regulatory landscape.
3. Support the adoption of Data Standards by business stakeholders and influence the maturity and accountability of compliance across the UK&I business.
4. Analyze processing and control activities, working with Risk & Governance teams to develop remediation plans and monitor progress.
5. Create and maintain the Controls and Monitoring Assurance plan with clear MI to demonstrate progress and trends.
6. Own and implement improvements in governance record keeping and operational controls, including changes to Data360, supported by education and communication.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of data management best practices, including governance, security, and quality.
* Up-to-date knowledge of policy frameworks and business process management.
* Understanding of risk management, audit, control management, and monitoring practices.
* Familiarity with relevant Data legislation, e.g., Data Protection laws.
* Experience in making sound decisions on major issues and implementing them within a business context.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
