SEN Teacher (Secondary) Area: Northampton Start: April 2025 Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS with SEN allowance A highly reputable and well-established SEN School Group is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join the permanent staff team at their specialist school in Northampton. The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. They will work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student’s individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons adapted to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Develop and implement personalised learning plans (EHCPs) to support student progress. Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals. Assess, track, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed. Engage with parents and carers to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience working with students with SEN, ideally in a specialist or secondary school setting. A strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
