Job Description:
The Talent Development Advisor is responsible for implementing, and managing programs that support employee growth, employee development, and career progression. This role involves taking a lead role in assessing training needs, delivering learning initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the organization.
What you'll be doing:
* Early careers programme support and coordination (Graduate Programmes, Industrial Placements, Apprenticeships and Work Experience including the provision of mentoring support and liaison with students, assessors and line managers.
* Work with the Talent Development Partner to support the coordination and administration of other employee development programmes such as development events, compliance training, coaching, mentoring, LMS administration, and workshop support.
* Manage relationships with a wide range of external talent and training and development provider and platform providers such as LinkedIn, Workable, HiBob.
* Support with coordination and administration in relation to Team succession planning initiatives.
* Manage and develop internal relationships cross-functionally and be a strong champion for the P&C Team
* Provide accurate administration support for internal reporting, generation of data and insights/trends which can be utilised to support further improvements in development initiatives for the team.
* Maintain accurate records of employee development activities and training compliance.
* Provide wider administration support as required to the People and Culture team including Talent Acquisition, and HR.
Requirements
* Previous experience in supporting the delivery of early careers initiatives including work experience, apprenticeships, industrial placements and graduates.
* Strong understanding of delivering early careers administration processes such as enrolment, milk round, careers fairs and apprenticeship assessment.
* Experience of providing student mentoring and being a regular point of contact for queries/issues.
* Experience of using and configuring a Learning Management System such as Kallidus or similar.
* Comfortable supporting workshop facilitation.
* Excellent organisation skills, able to effectively prioritise their workload.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Able to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
