Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a highly motivated Head of Operations Support to join an international membership organisation dedicated to standards and sustainable business practices.
About the Role
As the Head of Operations Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of multiple departments, including Assurance, Certification, Standards, Membership, Digital & IT, Policy, and Training. You will work closely with the Executive Director, identifying operational improvements, ensuring compliance, and driving collaboration across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Executive Director on operational matters and strategic initiatives.
* Oversee and optimise operational processes across multiple departments.
* Identify and implement continuous improvements in line with industry and legal standards.
* Ensure compliance with international codes and UK/EU legislation.
* Enhance digital systems and IT operations for greater efficiency.
* Foster a collaborative, member-centric approach to service delivery.
* Act as an interim Executive Director when required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a Head of Operations or equivalent leadership role.
* Strong understanding of operations within a regulated industry or membership organisation.
* Knowledge of compliance, standards, and certification processes (desirable).
* Track record of implementing operational efficiencies and digital improvements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
