Sponsorship Director - Divisional
Circa £70-80,000 + OTE Uncapped (150k+)
Location: London (3 days office)
Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Sponsorship Director to join a major brand focused on global conferences (5 Million + portfolio). This is a unique role which requires a “hands-on” sponsorship professional from a business conference background, leading from the front whilst working key accounts and acting as a leader to the sponsorship team standing at currently 5 sales people (expected to grow significantly).
Role: This is a senior management position. You will be responsible for growing my client’s revenues across the product portfolio. You will be expected to demonstrate a strategic approach and entrepreneurial zeal in the sale of products. Demonstrating the highest standards, you will constantly look for ways in which the products can be improved or refined. You are expected to have a team focus, working with colleagues to share contacts, market information and best practices to ensure that the client nurtures a culture of innovation and excellence.
Strategic Management
* Strategic direction of the Sales function to hit and over-perform on sales targets & KPI’s – this includes both personal sales and team sales.
* Participate as a key member of the management team.
People Management
* Provide visionary leadership of the sales function personnel for 2022 & beyond.
* Ensure a strong team culture, aligned with business needs.
* Development of the sales executives (skills, knowledge & process) and provision of appropriate training solutions.
* Ensure adequate (100%) resourcing of the sales team.
* Formation of incentive/motivational plans for the sales team.
* Performance management of the Sales Execs by undertaking regular reviews/addressing development areas.
* Create an environment of team working and knowledge sharing.
* Proven track record of consistent achievement of own and team revenue targets.
* Excellent application of a consultative sales approach.
* Highly driven, entrepreneurial approach.

* A number of years’ experience within the commercial event sales sector.
* Top sales performer and biller in your current role with a clear track record of exceeding targets and objectives.
* Excellent leader of teams and ability to develop and support talent.
