STS Aviation Services is hiring Licensed Aircraft Engineers in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Position Summary:
STS Aviation Services are looking to recruit a Licensed B1 and/or B2 engineer type rated on 787 and 737 Max on a permanent full-time basis, based at our Manchester Line station. This is an exciting time to join the STS Aviation Services business and be part of our growing line station operations. The successful candidate will undertake Line Maintenance activities at the station ensuring that all Part 145 maintenance requirements are carried out in accordance with the Line Maintenance processes and procedures.
Job Duties:
1. Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of their company approvals
2. Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
3. Using customer and company processes, order spares to meet work requirements, complete associated paperwork for unserviceable components and record all maintenance activity performed with accurate man-hour bookings
4. Support adhoc AOG requirements
5. Ensuring the required aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner
6. Defect rectification on inbound aircraft
7. Meet and greet inbound aircraft and debrief the crew
8. Carry out engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required
9. Carry out maintenance tasks allocated with minimal supervision
10. Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
11. Ensure all required documentation is completed
12. Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
13. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
14. Ensure all work undertaken is in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Basic Requirements:
1. Part 66 Licence B1, B2, B1/B2
2. Type rated on 787 and 737 Max
3. Preferred previous Line Maintenance experience
4. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician
5. Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements
6. Excellent interpersonal skills
7. Organisational skills
8. Good communication skills
9. Full UK Driving licence Essential
10. Knowledge of MS Office applications
