The incoming candidate will assist the Technology and Third Party Governance Manager with delivery of the IT Strategy and associated plans in respect of Access Control, Cyber Security, and IT Risk. There will also be opportunities to partner closely with the Head of Technology Governance to perform a range of different ad-hoc duties and projects. Please note the proposed start date for this role is April 2025, candidates who graduate in 2025 need not apply. Key Responsibilities Access Control To assist with, and in time take ownership of, cyclical access control reviews across the business. These will include internal and externally hosted applications, physical security reports, market data access permissions, and other ad-hoc reporting as required. To develop a close working relationship with and provide support to the wider IT team with respect to ensuring that access controls remain both effective and robust in practise. To own the policies and procedures associated with access control and keep them updated as per requirements. To produce analysis identifying toxic combinations of access and enforce remediation actions where appropriate. To assist with producing and presenting MI to senior business stakeholders. Data Governance To assist the wider IT area as required with respect to internal and external audits; ensuring that action points are resolved and closed appropriately Providing access control related audit and project updates to relevant senior stakeholders as and when appropriate. To provide challenge against existing standards in the areas of data protection and governance.
