Learning Support Assistant (LSA) | Buckinghamshire | INDB
A secondary school in Buckinghamshire is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with SEMH and SEN needs. This is a permanent PAYE contract (£96£105 per day) with opportunities to train as a qualified teacher or educational psychologist.
Learning Support Assistant - Role Overview:
As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers to support students in their learning, both one-to-one and in small groups. You will assist in managing behaviour, adapting lesson materials, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Learning Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to students with SEMH and SEN needs.
* Assist teachers in lesson delivery and classroom management.
* Adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
* Encourage student independence and engagement.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SEN staff.
Learning Support Assistant - Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
