Looking for a busy and meaningful role in which you can make a difference? Help us to empower people with learning disabilities at our established coffee shop in Great Holm, Milton Keynes. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week.)
Your support will help a wonderful group of adults to gain skills involved with hospitality, customer care, food preparation, baking, money management and a number of other duties involved with running a popular shop and catering department. As well as working in the coffee shop, you will also be supporting people out and about to go shopping and serve at community events. We also support local organisations like The Parks Trust and Bucks Fire and Rescue Service with catering, including silver service events and cupcake orders.
This varied role will require you to wear many hats, with no two days being the same - but one constant will be the excellent support you provide to people with learning disabilities to encourage their independence and confidence.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to combine your love of hospitality with a genuine passion to make a real difference to someone's life along the way.
