Role Title – Commercial Manager – Supply Chain & Partnerships (Multiple roles)
Salary - £48,000 - £62,500
Locations – Derby OR Manchester (Hybrid)
We are now recruiting for multiple positions across the Commercial function including Commercial Manager(s) – Supply Chain & Partnerships, to be involved in an industry leading, cutting-edge project for a new type of power station.

The role provides the unique opportunity to work in an exciting new nuclear age engaging and working with strategic customers, suppliers and partners, developing meaningful relationships with some of the largest entities across the globe.
The Commercial Team is responsible for supporting our procurement and purchasing colleagues with defining contracting strategies and leading the negotiation and execution of appropriate terms and conditions, as well as providing post-contract commercial support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead on a variety of commercial activity, including the negotiation and delivery of contracts in line with business strategy, requirements and budget.
2. Align with commodity teams to support contracting strategy decisions and identify appropriate contracting mechanisms/agreements.
3. Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with company policy and process.
4. Draft, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts with third parties, such as suppliers, customers, partners, and regulatory entities.
5. Contribute to the commercial thinking in business strategies relating to customers, suppliers, and partners.
6. Interface with internal stakeholders for various purposes and influence decision-making in a challenging environment.
7. Present information to stakeholders in a compelling format.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, Law or Finance.
2. Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
3. Proven good interpersonal and organisation skills.
4. Experience managing or negotiating contracts in a highly regulated environment.
5. Experience in a supplier-facing role.
Pay and Benefits:
* Salary: £48,000 - £62,500
* Bonus: Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
* Benefits Allowance: £2,200
* Pension: 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
