We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in London as part of our Data and Insights function.
Your Role: You will deliver business actionable insights to help the business make informed decisions. Alongside developing BI capabilities into Lions business, you will work closely with the Awards, Content, and Advisory teams to unlock the commercial potential of the rich data held by Lions.
You will bring an ability to create both insight/analysis and work to create a foundation for BAU and new insights for Lions, contributing to the development of new products and deepening customer engagement. You will contribute to the development of original IP that fuels our content, membership, and marketing as well as fueling commercial and advisory products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide actionable insight and deliver business objectives, combining various data sources to provide analysis of customer and product behaviors and overall business trends.
* Enable insight-powered customer engagement by collating and analyzing information from a wealth of data and providing a clear coherent story - outputs may be presentation decks or dashboards. Present insights to key stakeholders.
* Using your strong investigative skills, interrogate and interpret data and communicate insights and recommendations on a range of business lenses.
* Develop analysis and transform data from multiple sources to obtain unique insights for the business.
* Help teams make the best content by understanding trends in advertising and marketing, communicating complex results/techniques in a way that is easy for a variety of stakeholders to understand.
* Proactively troubleshoot issues in data accuracy in both the database environment and within reports.
* You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity, and inclusion OR you are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced.
Your Experience:
* Experience generating insight/analysis in a commercial environment, for example, working in Marketing, CPG (FMCG), Retail, Banking, Consulting, B2B, etc.
* Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, sound grasp of analysis, modeling, and statistics techniques.
* Knowledge of MS Excel and Google products.
* Experience in SQL, BigQuery, and Looker.
* Experience in manipulating large data sets, handling and interpreting quantitative data, and mining data from multiple sources.
* Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical people.
* Excellent communication skills, able to simply communicate complex analysis.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
* Experience working with Google Analytics and Salesforce Data.
