Job Specification
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to fit in with our existing fast paced business.
Duties will include both workshop and on site work.
Workshop duties include – Co-ordinating a busy warehouse, overseeing goods in & out, maintaining our computerised system, maintenance, servicing, repairs, diagnostic tests of the equipment, stock control, demonstrations and general workshop duties.
On site duties include - Pre Heat and PWHT, client liaison, performing applications to client requirements. on site maintenance and repair may be required. Site work can be anywhere in the world including offshore on oil/gas rigs
Technical/Engineering background is preferred however, full training will be given in Induction Heat Treatment and all aspects of heat treatment works.
The candidate must: be computer literate, have a full clean driving licence, have the ability to work unsupervised after the initial training, must be flexible to work overtime and travel throughout the UK and the world on occasions. Due to the location of our workshop you will need your own transport.
What we offer – You will get full training in all aspects of our business. After full training you will have the chance to work throughout the UK and the rest of the world. Good rates of pay. Normal working hours are 40 hours over 5 days. Some overtime and weekend work will be required whilst on site. The holiday allowance is 20 days per year plus bank holidays rising to a maximum of 25 plus bank holidays. An attractive pension is available. On site free parking.
