What you will do: In order to be on top of our strategic priority of HSE, we are now looking for the right professional to join our team as HSE Manager for Development and HSE Assurance within BU Offshore Wind. In this scope you will be responsible for: • Further maintaining the HSE management system, based on ISO 45001 and 14001, to enable the organisation to drive a Compliance Assurance strategy and framework within the Business Unit. • Manager the HSE aspects across our BU Offshore Wind project development portfolio. The HSE Manager will report to the Head of HSE, Business Unit Offshore Wind and work closely with project development teams, and other stakeholders to implement and monitor HSE practices, drive compliance, and foster a culture of safety. Key Responsibilities: Project HSE Manager – Development portfolio: Strategic HSE Leadership – Establish and manage the Project HSSE Management System, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. Risk Management – Lead risk assessments, site audits, and proactive risk mitigation for all project phases, ensuring safe, ALARP-compliant operations. Contractor Management – Drive HSSE standards for contractors, including onboarding, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring. Safety Culture – Champion a strong safety culture through Behavior-Based Safety programs, regular safety meetings, and training initiatives. Training and Compliance – Implement a training matrix for onshore and offshore operations, ensuring all personnel meet HSSE competency requirements. Incident and Emergency Response – Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and manage Emergency Response Plan readiness. Continuous Improvement – Report on HSSE KPIs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and align project-level insights with corporate HSSE strategy. HSE Assurance manager – BU Offshore Wind: Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System, in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other applicable standards. Conduct HSE compliance reviews, support HSE audits, and manage reporting to meet corporate and regulatory requirements. Ensure integration of the HSE Management System with other ISO standards under development, contributing to a unified Integrated Management System (IMS). Provide training and resources to support employees’ understanding and application of the HSE Management System. Monitor and analyze HSE performance data across the corporate level, driving improvements and corrective actions as necessary. Independent: You are an independent thinker and naturally set your own timescales and milestones to ensure you meet your objectives. You know when you need to ask for help and are comfortable doing so. Flexible : You are agile in your approach to your work and enjoy working within a lean team, where you’ll be required to travel to our key locations. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in occupational health, safety management, environmental science or equivalent. As a minimum, you hold a recognized qualification in Health, Safety and Environmental management, e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor, or any of the other ISO HSE standards (e.g. ISO 14001, 9001). 10 years of experience in managing HSE. Relevant offshore wind Design, Construction and O&M experience. Fully conversant with International and local HSE standards, codes, management system and industry practices. Demonstratable knowledge and the ability to establish, implement, manage and audit HSE Management Systems. Experience with Client / Contractor relationships & management.
