Newcastle College is looking to appoint a Specialist Technician for Sport. Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Support the teaching team in the preparation of teaching and learning environments for curriculum, enrichment and wellbeing. In addition, support the extra-curricular offer and deliver/oversee sessions as required.
2. Support teaching staff with the planning and administration of trips and visits. The post holder will be required to drive a minibus.
3. Maintain an inventory of practical equipment ensuring it is replaced, repaired and maintained.
4. Train staff and students to be able to use practical equipment.
