Main duties of the Speech and Language Therapist:
1. Evaluating the communication, language, and social interaction skills of individuals with suspected or diagnosed ASD.
2. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams (e.g., psychologists, pediatricians) to support ASD diagnoses.
3. Creating tailored intervention plans based on each individual's specific communication needs.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:
1. Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
2. Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
3. Autism experience.
